The Northern BC division of Brinkman & Associates is in the third decade of continuous services to an area that extends north from Williams Lake into the Yukon. Services offered by this division cover the entire range of silviculture treatments to free-growing release and stand enhancement, including proprietary services such as those that integrate our patented power girdler, the L'il Beaver.
The Northern BC division also has extensive experience in silviculture surveys and forest ecosystem restoration. The silviculture survey crew has been working in Northern BC ecosystems for more than 10 years. Restoration work in this area has included slope stabilization, revegetation of riparian areas, and the assessment and rehabilitation of thousands of old cutblock landings.
Development of successful silviculture joint ventures with native communities has been a focus of the Northern BC division over the past 10 years. These working relationships have been very successful in engaging the local native community in the silviculture industry. This engagement ranges from simple employment opportunities to broad business level partnerships that draw on Brinkman & Associates' 35 years of experience.
