Canada and NW USA activities

Brinkman & Associates Reforestation Ltd is Canada's oldest and foremost reforestation company. Since 1970, the company has planted over 900 million trees and currently manages approximately 1 million hectares of forest land. Although its roots are in reforestation, the company has grown into a broader forestry services management company, remaining a leader and innovator in Canadian forestry.

Brinkman's vision is to be known as the best in forest ecosystem renewal, worldwide.

Brinkman's mission is to deliver innovative ecosystem-based solutions for restoring and sustaining forests.

From Ontario through western Canada and NW USA, Brinkman maintains 35 specialized crews with over 1000 seasonal employees. As a long term supplier to Canada's forest industry, the company has supplied comprehensive services to many of its clients for more than 20 continuous years. Many of the company's innovations in equipment and operations have become industry standards. In Canada and northwest United States, we plant or tend over 30,000 hectares per year. Outside of the forest, Brinkman provides ecosystem restoration services in urban and suburban areas of BC and Southern Ontario.

The company’s long term success and professional reputation are due to its commitment to an excellent employment experience for its people and its dedication to delivering innovation and value to its clients. The company is committed to having its forestry and ecological restoration services reflect environmentally sound principles and practices.

The main office is in New Westminster, BC, with branch offices in Vancouver Island, Alberta and Ontario.

In western Canada, Brinkman Forest Ltd provides comprehensive resource management services with a focus on sustainable forest management for both timber and non-timber forest products.  Since its formation in 2005, the company has focused on providing these services to First Nation communities in northwestern and coastal BC. The provision of resource management services to First Nation communities grew out of Brinkman & Associates Reforestation Ltd’s history of working with communities in developing capacity for forest based employment and economic opportunity.

Brinkman Forest Ltd offices are in New Westminster, BC and Terrace, BC.

International activities

In Central America, Brinkman has been active since 1995 under the name BARCA, S.A.
